📣Beechfield Medical Centre – Patient Experience Survey 2025 📣
Thank you to everyone who took part in our recent Patient Experience Survey. Your feedback helps us understand what’s working well and where we can continue to improve. Below is a short summary of what patients told us when comparing the most recent survey with the previous one.

What’s Improved Since the Last Survey
- Easier to Get Care - Many more patients said it was easy to seek medical care or advice. This includes phone calls, face-to-face appointments, and online contact. Patients reported that contacting the practice now feels more straightforward and accessible.
- Shorter Waiting Times - A large number of patients felt they received care or advice as soon as was necessary. This shows improvement in how quickly we are able to respond once you contact us.
- More Face-to-Face Appointments - Lots more patients were seen in person compared with the previous survey. This reflects our commitment to offering face-to-face consultations where needed.
- Better Overall Experience - Most patients said their consultation or interaction with us worked extremely well. More people also reported that their needs were definitely met, and general satisfaction with the practice was higher overall.

What Patients Continue to Tell Us
While feedback was overwhelmingly positive, some patients shared that:

They sometimes still have to wait longer than they would like.

Not every experience goes as smoothly as it should.

A small number felt their needs were not fully met.
We take all feedback seriously and will continue working to improve access and communication.

What We’re Doing Next
Based on your feedback, we are:

Continuing to increase availability of face-to-face appointments

Improving our telephone and online access systems

Reviewing processes to reduce waiting times

Ensuring all patient concerns are addressed respectfully and effectively

Thank You - Your views shape how we improve our services.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences—together we can make Beechfield Medical Centre the best it can be for our community.

NO EXCUSE FOR ABUSE
We have had more than few occasions recently where our staff have been abused and upset by patients being verbally aggressive and demanding on the phone and in person.
All of our staff do an amazing job every single day and are doing the best they can with the resources we have available to us and they are following the procedures we have in place to ensure a safe and effective service.
Please remember that you are
speaking to other real life human beings and imagine how you might feel if someone spoke to you or one of your loved ones in that manner.
We have zero tolerance for abusive or aggressive behaviour under any circumstances and repeated offences may results in you being removed from our patient list.
EVENING & WEEKEND APPOINTMENTS
Evening and weekend appointments are available across the Spalding PCN each week, these are a mixture of face to face and virtual, and cover a variety of clinical skill sets. A proportion of our weekend appointments are provided by Livi, a remote GP consultation platform designed to improve clinical access to patients. To book your appointment, please speak to our Reception Team.

An online book of condolence is open to anyone who wishes to share their thoughts and memories of Dr Babu - https://www.online-tribute.com/DrBabu - a physical book is also open at the main site should anyone be unable to access online.
Lincolnshire Primary Care Awards
Yesterday (26th March) the practice was awarded High Commendation at the first annual Lincolnshire Primary Care Awards event. This event was organised by the Primary Care Workforce Team at NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board and the awards were judged by a panel of individuals who champion staff wellbeing.
Teams across the 4 pillars of Primary Care (General Practice, Dentistry, Optometry and Pharmacy) in Lincolnshire were nominated for their work in line with the 7 elements of the NHS People Promise which include compassion & inclusivity, recognition & reward, listening to staff, ensuring a safe & healthy work environment, promoting a learning culture, allowing flexibility and encouraging teamwork.
Our team are incredibly proud of the environment they have cultivated, and the support offered to them in so many ways by the partner, the management team and by each other on a daily basis. We are incredibly grateful to receive this recognition.
Some members of our team also received long service awards – Sara Harris, our Dispensary Manager and Anne Coddington, our Cardiovascular Disease Specialist Nurse for 30+ years service and Debra Cooper, our Advanced Nurse Practitioner for 40+ years. These ladies have dedicated most of their working lives to helping patients across different areas of healthcare and we are very lucky to have them in our team.
